About Gwyn

Half French, half Welsh with a childhood split between the extremes of a Welsh mining village and middle class France, With five beautiful grown up daughters.  Gwyn lives with her long term partner Tony along with eleven Birman cats and splits her time between West Lodge – an eclectic vegetarian boutique guesthouse and venue - in Norfolk, England, Mediterranean France and New Zealand. She has successfully initiated and run a wide range of businesses from Veterinary Surgeries through to property and direct sales book companies.

Gwyn is a fully accredited Coach from ‘Coaching and Mentoring International’ (formally UK College of Life Coaching) and founded UK Lifecoaching in 2006. She has a special interest in personal development and growth working predominantly but not exclusively with women in transition periods of their lives; including  self-esteem and self worth issues, adolescence and its associated dilemmas, relationships, divorce, bereavement, menopause, life course changes and a myriad of other issues and opportunities and runs regular woman’s workshops.

Clients relate easily to Gwyn she is highly empathic and is not afraid to speak her mind though normally tempered with a little humour. Her background  puts her in quite a unique position, relating easily to a broad  cross section of people  and she loves the clarity that coaching can give.

Her core values include; Life, Honesty, Respect and Freedom. She is a strict vegetarian and is quite passionate about animal welfare and environmental issues believing all life to be sacred.

Pet loves: Music to lift the soul, eccentricity, cats, travel and family.
Pet Hates: Supercilious people, Cruelty in any shape or form, Skydiving – as in there is just no way I’m ever going to do it.
Best achievement to date: Five beautiful, fabulous, mostly well balanced daughters and finding my soul-mate.
Personal goals:  To live every day to the full and be the very best person I can (except before that first coffee in the morning). To travel on a star-ship (Branson get a move on).

Gwyn works to a very high ethical standard, has a Diploma in Coaching and is an Associate Member of the ECI (European Coaching Institute) the AC (Association of Coaches), and abides by their Code of Conduct and Ethics.
